What is noteworthy in this picture is that one young female student is saying to her classmate:“I am your rival,and will surpass you someday”while her classmate replies that they can make progress together through daily discussion.This cartoon is thought-provoking and reveals to us a solid truth:the importance of cooperation and competition is hardly overlooked in current society.
It is worthwhile to point out that the relation between cooperation and competition is fairly vital to his or her own life.Indeed,topics around it are favored for Chinese to read about and discuss.Most of people hold different attitudes towards it.An online poll conducted by China Daily showed that more than 60%of the 5500 respondents had been asked to cooperate with others.While 4%said that competition should be more important to some extent.A series of elements can be explored to analyze the cause&effects behind this topic,as I can see,the following points should not be overlooked.The first one is related to current economy.As a result of booming economy and changing lifestyle,due attention has been paid to competition instead of cooperation.Furthermore,education is another major contributor to it.To be specific,we have been taught how to compete and cooperate with others during daily study.A case in point is the success of China’s battle against Covid-19,if there were no cooperation between every Chinese,there would be no such a resounding victory in China compared with other nations.
From my perspective,due attention should be paid to competition and cooperation.It will serve as guidance and a view of the future,as well as looking at new expectation for development.

一年一度的考研又要到來。英語二的大作文相對簡單。我們統(tǒng)計(jì)了11年來大作文的題材，其中社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)題材考過7次，大學(xué)生活考過4次。
無論什么題材，寫作內(nèi)容其實(shí)可以大同小異。開頭段我們簡要的描述數(shù)據(jù)。對于基礎(chǔ)不是特別好的同學(xué)，我們的建議是數(shù)據(jù)的描述切忌過于詳細(xì)。能說明圖表所反映的趨勢就可以。
中間段落的內(nèi)容都是因果分析。到底是多寫原因還是影響可以自由決定，因人而異、因題而異。下面的文章中，我們故意使用了幾個(gè)相同的原因，比如經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，科技的進(jìn)步和競爭的激烈。熟背這些原因，無論什么題目我們都可以隨機(jī)應(yīng)變、靈活套用。當(dāng)然穩(wěn)妥起見考生可以再多準(zhǔn)備幾個(gè)所謂的“萬能觀點(diǎn)”。
結(jié)尾段不要太長，三言兩語做一個(gè)總結(jié)，或者提點(diǎn)建議。保證總字?jǐn)?shù)大概到200左右。太短影響得分，太長浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，并且錯(cuò)誤也會(huì)更多。

The charts above reveal a whole picture of people having physical exercise.Based on the data shown,we can conclude that elders top the list among the three groups in terms of time and place.In comparison with the aged,many people,especially those in their middle age,spend little time(only half an hour a day on average).Even when they try to exercise,they prefer fitness centers to parks.

What might account for the phenomenon?We cannot help wondering.Among all the possible explanations,the most obvious one is the increasingly fierce competition that pervades society.For example,to be admitted to prestigious universities,students can do nothing but burn midnight oil so that they can have an edge over others;to win the favor of employers and clients,white collars sometimes work around the clock before the deadline so that they can climb the social ladder.In addition,economic prosperity and rapid rise of people’s living standard also account for the statistics shown in the chart.Previously,few of us could manage to make ends meet with the meagre income we had.Fortunately,the turn of the century has seen explosive economic growth.As a result,youngsters consider membership cards of gyms as a necessity but not a luxury.
其中原因有很多，最主要的是競爭太過激烈。比如，為了能夠考上名牌大學(xué)，很多學(xué)生往往熬夜來趕超別人；為了能夠取悅老板和客戶，在截止期前很多白領(lǐng)甚至徹夜不眠。另外一個(gè)原因是經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展了，大家有錢了。以前我們往往入不敷出，現(xiàn)在很多年輕人覺得健身卡是生活必需品。
To sum up,the quickening pace in contemporary society and development of economy are two main contributory factors for the phenomenon.Considering the significance of health,we sincerely hope that people of all ages,be they young or old,will spend more time on physical exercise.
總而言之這個(gè)現(xiàn)象的兩個(gè)原因主要是現(xiàn)在生活節(jié)奏快和經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。考慮到健康的重要性，我衷心的希望，無論多大年紀(jì)，人們都應(yīng)該花更多的時(shí)間來參加體育活動(dòng)。
