在申請CFA持證時，會要求具備4年與投資決策過程相關(guān)的工作經(jīng)驗。CFA協(xié)會認可的工作經(jīng)驗為：在投資決策過程（如金融分析、投資管理、和證券分析等等）中收集、評估及應(yīng)用金融、經(jīng)濟和統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)；直接或間接主管他人進行上述活動；從事上述投資決策活動的教學培訓工作等等。

　　在通過CFA三級考試后，需要4年（48個月）被認可的專業(yè)工作經(jīng)驗，不論是參加CFA考試前、考試中、考試后積累的工作經(jīng)驗，都是被認可的。
