Responsibilities

 

1.Provide secretarial and administrative support to the CSR team leader

2.Responsibility for tracking northern region’s budgets, record keeping and updating database records

3.Provide assistance and coordination for CSR related activities

4.Manage general enquiries regarding the KPMG China and northern region’s CSR programme

5.Maintain regular contact and carry out due diligence work with existing and potential NGO partners in China

6.Assist in contributing to various communication channels, such as developing messages and providing updates for the firm’s CSR internet, intranet portals, and social media platform

7.Keep and file CSR related materials, eg. photos, videos, various figures, etc.

 

Experience

 

1.Bachelor graduate or above, ideally with a background in social work and event management

2.A minimum of two year’s relevant experience, with a passion for community services. Alternatively a recent graduate with considerable volunteer experience is also welcome

3.Good Chinese and English language skills

Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills

4.Proficient in MS office applications and video editing software

KPMG’s Risk and Compliance Services has grown substantially since its establishment. We help organisations improve their corporate governance practices, risk management and internal control systems by focusing on strategic and operational risk issues spanning different functions and operating units. We provide governance, risk and compliance services to support compliance with listing rules and other regulatory requirements, and assist in developing integrated frameworks that unify governance, risk, compliance and assurance functions.

We also work with organisations to strengthen their performance and decision-making through the establishment of an Enterprise Risk Management system or through continuous auditing and monitoring approaches.

 

Responsibilities

 

1.Assist in the process of effectively identifying, assessing and reporting risks for clients across a wide range of industries

2.Perform internal control reviews and SOX assistance projects for clients

3.Support project planning, scheduling, coordination and reporting

 

Experience and Knowledge

 

1.A minimum of 2 years working experience in financial services, consumer markets, infrastructure industry professional services firms, government/quasi-government sectors, or multinational corporations

2.Industry experience should include exposure to at least one of the following industries: financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, infrastructure, construction, energy or consumer markets; candidates with experience in multiple industries or with MNC experience will have an advantage

3.Experience in handling high impact, complex projects across borders/functions in a dynamic environment will be a definite advantage

4.Industry experience should include in-depth exposure in at least one of the following industries: manufacturing, telecommunications, banking, insurance and energy. Candidates with depth in multiple industries will have an advantage.

5.Travelling is required for cross-border assignments

Education and Professional Certifications:

Degree holder in accounting or any business-related major

6.Qualified CICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CIA or equivalent is highly preferable

Responsibilities

 

1.Conducting legal research in various industries in China

2.Assisting managers in providing investment related advisory services (e.g. investment pre-entry study, investment structures; restructuring planning, incentive study, location study etc) from business and legal perspective

3.Assisting managers in incorporation and restructuring (e.g. merger, alteration and de-registration etc.) of enterprises including domestic and foreign invested enterprises

4.Assisting managers in liaison with governmental authorities to understand policy and practice in different levels

5.Assisting managers in writing articles or making presentations on legal/investment and other related matters

Other work as assigned

 

Experience and Requirements

 

1.At least 3-5 years working experience in investment advisory, preferably working experience in law firm or consulting firm

2.Solid legal knowledge on corporate laws and foreign investment related legislations

3.Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin

4.Professional attitude and good team player

5.Bachelor degree or above, major in law

6.PRC law qualified
